During the practice, you experience incredibly deep relaxation, allowing you to rest and restore. You simply lie down and listen as you are guided through ever-deeper levels of yourself – physical, energetic, mental/ emotional, wisdom and bliss layers, dissolving tension as you go and arriving at a place of intuitive knowing, deep peace and joy.
As you travel inward, you are asked to ponder your deepest heart-felt desire and to set it as an intention for your life. Each layer opens to take you to the next layer until you arrive at a clear space where you experience a deep sense of your true being and your connection with yourself and the world around you. At this level, past the waking and dreaming states, you are in a deep state of conscious sleep. Bringing your intention here allows it to permeate your entire being so that it can radiate out into your life.
Beginning practitioners don’t always achieve the most advanced stages but they still emerge feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The more familiar you become with Yoga Nidra, the easier it is to slide into the deeply relaxed state. You can’t do it wrong! and the more you practice the more you find the bliss and joy of your true nature.

I offer these mini-retreats as an oasis from the busy world. NO experience is necessary in Yoga or Meditation or drawing! You simply relax with pillows and bolsters.
